Boeing Korea Engineering and Technology Center (BKETC) is seeking an Information Technology engineer who can design, develop, and modify high-quality applications for android mobile platforms that integrate with wearable devices, leveraging Artificial Intelligence.

Work Information:

• Work Location : ASEM Tower (Samsung-dong, Seoul, South Korea)
• Work Type : Hybrid (Work from home & office)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers to define application requirements and specifications for mobile devices
• Design, develop, and modify high-quality applications for android mobile platforms that integrate with wearable devices, leveraging Artificial Intelligence
• Implement secure data exchange protocols between applications and wearable devices to ensure data privacy and protection
• Integrate AI algorithms and models into applications to deliver intelligent functionalities, such as predictive analytics and personalization
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve software defects, performance issues, and usability problems
• Document application development processes, including design decisions, technical specifications, and user guides
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing inquiries or issues related to applications
• Keep abreast of the latest Samsung SDKs, APIs, and development tools to maximize application performance and compatibility with Samsung devices

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing applications specifically for android mobile devices, with expertise in AI and wearable integration
• Solid understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, algorithms, and frameworks
• Familiarity with Samsung mobile devices, including smartphones and wearable devices
• Proficiency in programming languages, with a strong grasp of Android development frameworks and tools specific to android devices
• Excellent collaboration and verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Prior experience with Samsung-specific SDKs, APIs, and development tools

This is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
