Role Overview

As a Front-End Developer at NomadHer, you will be instrumental in the continuous development of the NomadHer mobile application. Your role will include maintaining and refactoring the current application, developing new features, integrating designs, and enhancing the code architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace and support NomadHer's mission of empowering women through travel.
• Manage a wide range of tasks, including developing innovative features and debugging.
• Employ development best practices to ensure high-quality software, good test coverage, and efficient deployment.

Who You Are

• A skilled developer with 3+ years of experience in product development.
• Proficient in front-end libraries/frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or React Native/Flutter.
• Strong knowledge of Typescript and experience with state managers (Redux, Mobx, etc.).
• Fluent in English and capable of working independently.
• Comfortable with collaboration and open to asking questions about the product.

Desirable

• Familiarity with SOLID principles and CLEAN architecture.
• Experience with refactoring and a penchant for handling long-term code architecture.
• Interest in TDD methodologies.
• Enthusiasm for tackling code architecture challenges.
• Knowledge of GCP/Firebase (not mandatory but a plus).

Technical Stack:

• Firebase suite for backend services (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication, Remote Config, Analytics, Messaging).
• Mobile app development with React Native and Redux Toolkit.
• Backend API with NestJs, running on Cloud Functions V2.
• Transition from Cloud Functions V1 to V2.
• ElasticSearch for search engine capabilities.
