Product and Business Overview

Glassdome is at the forefront of building a new data infrastructure, primarily targeting industrial sectors, especially manufacturing. From hardware to embedded software and cloud software, we develop the necessary technology for industrial optimization and compliance. In Korea, we provide digital transformation solutions for manufacturing companies with continuous processes, including Orion, Samyang Food, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, Central Vaccine, SK Ecoprime, CJ Korea Express, Daedong, Asia Paper, and Beksan Group. We are also actively working on developing life cycle assessment (LCA) solutions in partnership with LG and Samsung to calculate carbon emissions for electric vehicles and industrial batteries, showcasing our commitment to ESG management.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing cloud-native Go services running on Kubernetes.
• Development of time-series data storage and analysis services using Clickhouse
• Setting up and maintaining data pipelines.
• Utilizing workflow engines like Cadence, Temporal, and Apache Airflow for data pipeline processing.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in service application development (using languages such as Go, Java or Python).
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and the CNCF ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines and data pipeline processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience in developing data warehouse tools like BigQuery and Clickhouse.
